The Underwear – Road to the Strongest

Just a few days ago, in the basement of a small house, there lived a man completely naked, his entire body packed with muscle.
His physique looked almost like it had been forged from steel, glistening beneath the dim basement light. Every muscle clung tightly to his frame like diamonds fused beneath his skin—massive, dense, and perfectly defined.
His hair was cropped into a sharp crew cut.
His name was Dave.
“Ten years…” he muttered, slowly clenching his fist. “Just like that, ten years are gone.”
Dave gently pushed open the basement door. A beam of sunlight shot through the opening, flooding the darkness with blinding light. He instinctively raised a hand to shield his eyes.
“I haven’t taken a single step outside this basement in ten years. I haven’t seen real sunlight in a decade.” He slowly clenched his fist. “For ten years, I’ve had only one purpose—to become stronger. Perhaps the strongest man in the world.”
“Every day, I trained. My biceps, triceps, abs, chest, glutes… every single muscle in my body.”
Standing beneath the sunlight with his massive physique gleaming, Dave took a deep breath.
“I’m back, baby.”
Then he paused. Something felt… off. He casually looked down.
He was still completely naked.
He hadn’t worn clothes in years. Every piece of fabric he once owned had been destroyed during training, slowly shredded by sweat, friction, and the sheer mass of his muscles. Even his last pair of underwear had finally given out during a particularly heavy squat session.
But Dave had never cared.
“Training is more comfortable without clothes anyway. Less sweat, less heat… more natural.”
Still, he was going outside now, and walking around the streets completely naked probably wasn’t appropriate.
He glanced around the neighborhood—and then spotted something hanging from a nearby balcony.
A pair of pink, triangle-shaped women’s underwear.
Dave’s eyes widened.
That… was his favorite kind of underwear.
Without hesitation, Dave climbed toward the balcony like a beast. One leap, then another, and he was there. He gently took the pink underwear from the railing and slipped it on.
It was a little tight.
But honestly… it looked fantastic on him. The snug fit hugged his massive physique, somehow making his already ridiculous muscles look even more imposing.
Pink Triangle Women’s Underwear acquired successfully.
With his new equipment in place, Dave stepped confidently onto the street, each stride firm and proud.
But there was something he didn’t know.
During the ten years he had spent locked away in that basement, the world outside had changed.
Dave stepped onto the street for the first time in ten years.
Almost immediately, something felt strange.
Everyone around him had their heads down, staring at little glowing rectangles in their hands. Their fingers tapped and swiped across the screens nonstop, as if they had all been hypnotized.
Dave narrowed his eyes.
“What the hell are those things? Phones… or miniature computers?”
He kept walking, taking in this strange new world around him.
Then he noticed something else.
The men on the street didn’t look quite like the men he remembered. Many had long, flowing hair. Some had bleached it blond. Their skin was pale, their bodies thin. Some wore makeup. A few were even wearing skirts.
Dave stopped and frowned. The sight made him slightly uncomfortable, but after a few seconds, he simply shrugged.
“Whatever. Not my business.”
Then Dave noticed something even stranger.
An old man, probably in his seventies or eighties, was strolling down the sidewalk hand in hand with a girl who looked barely twenty. He wore a faded railroad worker’s uniform.
Every now and then, the girl would turn toward him with a soft giggle and kiss his wrinkled cheek.
Dave stared at them in disbelief.
“So people are into grandpa-granddaughter romances now?”
He continued walking, but the world only seemed to get weirder.
Someone in a hoodie was casually peeing against a lamppost in broad daylight. Another man strutted past wearing a Chinese flag as a cape, as if he were some kind of superhero. And nearby, a man in a Zhongshan suit with black pantyhose pulled over his head was creeping behind buildings, peeking at passing women.
Dave stopped and took in everything around him for a moment before slowly nodding to himself.
“…Yeah. Ten years really passed. The world has gotten weird.”
But the strangest part wasn’t any of the people Dave had just seen.
It was the fact that nobody else seemed to care.
Everyone simply kept walking, heads down, swiping and scrolling on their phones as if everything around them were perfectly normal.
Dave looked down at his own hands.
“It matters not,” he muttered. “Now I possess power beyond reckoning.”
He bent down and picked up a small stone from the pavement. Holding it between his fingers, he slowly tightened his grip.
CRACK.
The stone crumbled into dust in his hand, the powder drifting away with the wind.
Over the next several days, Dave wandered from gym to gym, dojo to dojo, even stepping into kung fu academies and athletic clubs.
And everywhere he went, chaos followed.
Fighters were left groaning on the floor. Some crashed through windows, others were buried halfway into crumbling walls, and a few were sent flying straight out the front door like ragdolls.
In just one day, Dave had already crushed ten different locations. Every time he walked out of one, he left behind the same scene—cracked tiles, broken bodies, and shattered pride.
Outside the tenth place, Dave stopped and slowly shook his head.
“Too weak. Every single one of them went down with one punch.”
He looked at his fist.
“Perhaps… I really have become too strong.”
A faint smile appeared on his face.
“Perhaps I am now the strongest man in the world.”
Just as Dave was admiring his own strength, a young thug strolled past, smoking a cigarette. He glanced at Dave—shirtless, muscles bulging, wearing nothing but a tight pair of pink women’s triangle underwear—and smirked.
“Hey, loser,” he said, blowing out a cloud of smoke. “What kind of grown-ass man walks around wearing pink panties? That’s hilarious, bro.”
Dave ignored him and kept walking, but the thug stepped directly into his path. “You hear me? I’m talking to you, princess. What’s your name, muscle clown?”
Dave stopped and looked him in the eye. “I’m the strongest man in the world.”
The thug scoffed. “Hah! Well, I’m the strongest man on this street. So why don’t you—”
BOOM.
Dave threw a casual punch, sending the thug screaming across the entire block before he crashed into a pile of garbage bags at the far end of the street.
He didn’t get back up.
Word spread quickly.
Within days, stories about the nearly naked man in pink underwear began circulating all over Flushing City. People talked about the mysterious fighter who wandered from gym to gym, challenging anyone who looked strong—and defeating every opponent with a single punch.
Videos of him started appearing online. Some showed Dave walking calmly out of destroyed dojos. Others showed unconscious fighters scattered across the floor behind him.
Before long, people gave him a nickname.
The Underwear.
Dave wasn’t exactly thrilled with it.
He had spent ten years training to become the strongest man in the world, only to emerge from isolation and become famous as a man wearing women’s underwear.
But whether he liked the name or not, the legend of The Underwear had begun.
For the next several days, Dave continued searching for stronger opponents.
Gyms, dojos, martial arts schools—it didn’t matter where he went or who stood in front of him.
Every fight ended the same way.
One punch.
After a while, Dave began to wonder if there was anyone left who could actually give him a real fight.
Then one afternoon, while wandering down an old street, Dave noticed a faded advertisement pasted on a wall. The paper was yellowed and peeling at the corners.
LEE KUMKEE’S DOJO
LEARN KARATE — NEVER LOSE A FIGHT AGAIN!
Dave stopped and stared at it.
“Never lose a fight again? All right. I’ll make you lose one to me.”
Dave peeled the advertisement off the wall and took it with him.
A few minutes later, Dave walked into the dojo, still holding the old advertisement in one hand. Several students turned to stare. Standing around 180 centimeters tall, with a massively muscular build and nothing but a pair of pink women’s underwear, Dave was hard to miss.
He held up the paper.
“Tell Lee KumKee to come out. I want to challenge him.”
A man stepped forward and looked Dave up and down, his eyes eventually settling on the pink underwear.
“Out of all the colors you could’ve chosen… why pink?” He tugged lightly at the black belt around his waist. “I mean… if I were you, I’d go with black.”
Dave said nothing.
“But there’s no mistaking it. You’re The Underwear—the guy everyone’s been talking about lately.”
“That advertisement is a year old. Lee KumKee was my big brother. And believe me, if he were still here, I don’t think you’d stand much of a chance against him.”
He paused.
“Unfortunately, he passed away a couple of months ago.”
Dave slowly crumpled the advertisement into a ball and closed his fist around it. When he opened his hand again, the paper had been reduced to powder, drifting through the air.
“But since you came all this way looking for a fight, I’ll take his place. My name is Lee KumLok, the grandmaster of this dojo.”
He tightened his black belt.
“Let’s spar.”
The students quickly cleared the center of the dojo. The moment there was enough space, Lee KumLok charged.
A punch slammed into Dave’s chest and knocked him back a step, followed by another to the stomach. A kick crashed into his ribs, twisting his body sideways. Lee KumLok moved fast, circling Dave and striking from different angles—chest, abdomen, kidneys, jaw, temple. A clean punch to the side of the head snapped Dave’s face sharply to the side.
Dave didn’t fight back. He had no intention of ending this one too quickly. After days of defeating everyone with a single punch, he wanted to see what Lee KumLok could actually do.
And Dave had to admit, he was impressed. He knew little about martial arts, but he understood speed and power. Lee KumLok had plenty of both. His movements were fast, his attacks relentless, and every strike carried enough force to put an ordinary fighter down. Dave figured there probably weren’t many people in the city who could beat him.
Around them, Lee KumLok’s students were getting increasingly excited.
“Master! Get him!”
“That one hit his kidney!”
Another student watched Dave stumble backward under another combination and swallowed. “Dude… I think every bone in his body is broken.”
“He’s not even fighting back anymore.”
Lee KumLok kept attacking, driving Dave backward across the dojo. His body twisted and rocked with every impact, his head snapping from side to side under the punches. But there wasn’t a single visible injury on him.
Then, slowly, the corner of Dave’s mouth lifted. “You’re strong. Unfortunately, you were born in the wrong era… the era of me existing.”
He raised his fist and looked straight at Lee KumLok.
“I’m afraid… one punch will put an end to it.”
Lee KumLok immediately stopped attacking and took a step back, his eyes widening.
“Say what?”
Dave punched him straight in the stomach.
BOOM.
Lee KumLok shot backward like a cannonball, crashing through several of his own students and sending them flying in every direction. He slammed into the dojo wall, smashed straight through it, and flew out onto the street.
Everything went black as Lee KumLok lost consciousness.
That night, Dave returned home and dropped onto his worn-out couch.
Another day. Another one-punch victory.
He stared at the ceiling for a while, doing absolutely nothing. Eventually, he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.
Click. A commercial for adult diapers.
Click. A drama where two men were sharing a long, passionate French kiss.
Click. A male talk-show host crying uncontrollably with his face buried in a female guest’s chest.
Click. Anime.
Dave was about to change the channel again when a bald guy in a yellow suit caught his attention. On the screen, he defeated a giant monster with a single punch, then dropped to his knees in frustration.
“Not again… One punch and it’s over. Screw it. Ever since I became too strong, I don’t feel the exhilaration anymore. Day in and day out… no injuries. It bores me out of my mind.”
Dave slowly lowered the remote and stared at the screen.
“Oh… this guy is exactly like me, except he’s bald.”
Later that night, Dave stood in front of the bathroom mirror, brushing his teeth.
“Yeah… I think I really have become too strong.”
He continued brushing, staring at himself in the mirror.
“Being the strongest man on Earth sounds pretty awesome… until nobody can survive more than one punch.”
He paused.
“Man… this is boring.”
