Section 1: Breaking News

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. This is breaking news from Flushing City.”

A female reporter stood outside City Hall, holding a microphone.

“A mysterious new virus known as HJV has been spreading across Flushing City. Health officials have confirmed that the virus is transmitted through sexual contact. In response, the mayor has ordered all massage parlors and adult entertainment venues to shut down immediately until further notice.”

Meanwhile, at a nearby hospital, the automatic doors slid open.

Robinson stepped outside, holding a medical report in his hand.

He looked unusually troubled.

He glanced down at the report, shook his head, and let out a long sigh.

Without saying a word, he walked down the sidewalk.

Section 2: The Park Bench

Robinson walked into the park, looking for somewhere to sit.

Every bench was occupied by two people—except one. On that bench, a man sat alone, leaving the other half empty.

Robinson sat down beside him, unfolded his medical report, and stared at the results.

“Oh my goodness… I never thought something like this would happen to me.”

He looked at the report again.

“HJV… negative. Thank goodness. But…”

“YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! SYPHILIS?!”

Robinson scratched his head, trying to make sense of it. Without realizing it, his thoughts began slipping out of his mouth.

“How is that possible? I don’t go to those shady places… I’m not even that interested in women…”

Suddenly, a vague memory flashed through his mind.

A few weeks earlier, he had gotten completely drunk and passed out on the sidewalk near a street corner.

He vaguely remembered a fat, greasy-looking middle-aged woman leaning over him. Her unwashed hair stuck to her oily forehead, her face was covered in deep wrinkles and pimples, and her stained floral blouse stretched tightly over her enormous belly.

She flashed him a crooked grin, revealing a mouthful of yellow, uneven teeth.

“Come on, handsome. Let me take you home…”

“Oh shit… don’t tell me.”

Suddenly, a calm voice came from beside him.

“There’s no need to worry, Mr. Robinson. Syphilis is practically as easy to treat as the common cold these days. One week of medication, and you’ll be perfectly fine.”

Robinson turned his head.

“AAAAAAAH!”

He nearly jumped off the bench.

“CAPTAIN LAM?! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SITTING HERE?!”

Michael adjusted his golden-rimmed glasses.

“I’ve been here the whole time.”

Robinson froze.

“Wait… did you hear everything I just said? I think I was thinking out loud!”

Michael replied calmly.

“Loud and clear.”

Today, Michael wore a plain T-shirt and gray sweatpants. With all the massage parlors in Flushing City temporarily closed, Captain Lam was enjoying a rare vacation.

Without another word, Michael stood up, picked up his briefcase, and walked away.

Robinson watched him disappear down the path.

“Unbelievable… Captain Lam’s wearing a T-shirt and sweatpants, and he’s STILL carrying that briefcase?”

He scratched his head.

“What on earth does he keep in that thing?”

Robinson shook his head, folded his medical report, and left the park.

Section 3: The Ghost District

Robinson wandered into the red-light district of Flushing City.

The once-bustling streets were now deserted. Every massage parlor and adult entertainment club was locked up, its neon sign dark and a government closure notice posted on the door.

A cold breeze swept scraps of paper along the sidewalk. Suddenly, a loose wooden board fell from a storefront.

CLATTER!

The sound echoed through the empty street.

Robinson looked around.

“What a ghost town…”

As he continued walking, he noticed two women arguing near a street corner.

One of them wore a traditional men’s business suit, complete with a white dress shirt, striped necktie, and black leather shoes. Her jacket hung loosely from her narrow shoulders, and her trousers were far too baggy. Yet her shirt stretched tightly across her breasts, with the outlines of her nipples visible through the fabric.

Robinson raised an eyebrow.

“Huh? She’s not wearing a bra?”

He glanced at her oversized suit.

“Wait… Don’t tell me she’s one of those men who caught HJV and turned into a woman?”

“Honey, please! Don’t leave me! I really love you!” the woman in the suit pleaded.

Her girlfriend pulled away.

“But you’re not a man anymore! Your face, your voice… How am I supposed to be with you like this?!”

“But I’m still the same person! I only went to a massage parlor once! Just once! Who would’ve thought I’d catch this stupid virus and turn into a woman overnight?!”

“I don’t care how many times you went! Just looking at you gives me goosebumps! We’re done!”

She turned and walked away.

The woman in the suit dropped to her knees, staring helplessly at her changed body. She slowly placed a hand against her chest, overwhelmed with frustration and despair.

Robinson watched from a distance.

He pulled out his medical report and glanced at the result once more.

HJV: NEGATIVE

“Thank goodness…”

He folded the report and continued on his way.

Section 4: Another Negative Result

Robinson continued walking down the street.

He glanced at his watch.

“Hmm… Still early. Nothing much to do. Might as well rob somebody.”

Just then, he spotted a man standing by the roadside, staring at a medical report.

The man wore a traditional Zhongshan suit and round glasses, with his hair neatly parted down the middle. His round belly bulged beneath his clothes, and his face had a strangely innocent look.

It was Marvel.

“Oh… oh, thank goodness. HJV… HJV negative!” Marvel sighed in relief. “Otherwise… otherwise, how would I… I explain it to my mom?”

He folded the report and reached into his pocket to put it away.

But his hand slipped straight through a long cut in the fabric.

“Huh…?”

Suddenly, he remembered an old woman who had brushed past him on the street just a few minutes earlier.

It was the Sneaky Granny.

“Damn… damn! That… that sneaky old hag robbed me again!”

Just then, a large shadow appeared in front of him.

Before Marvel could react, Robinson grabbed him by the collar and lifted him off the ground with one hand.

“Hand over your money.”

“P-please… please, I… I don’t have any money!”

SLAP! SLAP!

Robinson slapped him twice across the face.

“Please… please don’t hurt me!”

Suddenly, a towering figure rushed toward them.

A thick, muscular arm swung out—

SMACK!

Robinson’s hand was knocked away from Marvel’s collar.

A tall, broad-shouldered man now stood between them.

Section 5: Pectoral Slam

Robinson stared at the man standing before him.

He was around 185 cm tall, with a square face, a buzz cut, and a stocky build. His massive arms were packed with muscle beneath a layer of fat.

He wore a dusty white tank top, faded work jeans, heavy construction boots, and a scratched yellow safety helmet.

“Who are you?” Robinson asked.

Yangtze stood tall, his arms crossed over his broad chest.

“Me? Just a part-time local hero. Name’s Yangtze River. I work construction full-time.”

He nodded toward the buildings lining the street.

“Take a look around. See those buildings? I was on the construction crew for about half of ’em.”

Robinson frowned.

“Yangtze River? What the hell kind of stupid name is that?”

Yangtze ignored the insult and glanced at Marvel.

“I simply cannot stand by and watch you hurt such a beautiful man. Those innocent eyes… that adorable little belly. He’s like a delicate flower.”

Robinson stared at him in disbelief.

“Beautiful?! Look at that stupid face and that big belly! Are you gay or something?!”

“Bitch, I might be,” Yangtze replied casually.

Robinson threw a punch, but Yangtze blocked it with his thick forearm and immediately countered with several powerful punches.

Robinson raised his arms and began moving them in continuous circles.

HEAVEN AND EARTH SHIFT!

His circling hands caught each incoming punch, guiding its force into a circular motion until the impact was completely neutralized.

Robinson immediately counterattacked. He spun three times on the spot, building momentum with each rotation, then unleashed a powerful spinning kick toward Yangtze’s head.

Yangtze dropped to one knee and tilted his head at just the right angle.

CLANG!

Robinson’s heel struck the yellow safety helmet.

Yangtze remained perfectly still.

He proudly patted his helmet.

“Ah, my beloved safety helmet! It can withstand any attack. And you know what? It only cost me $29.99!”

The two exchanged several more blows, but neither could gain the upper hand.

Finally, Yangtze stepped back.

“Looks like you’ve left me no choice.”

He straightened his body, stretched both arms straight behind him, and thrust his enormous chest forward.

Then he charged straight toward Robinson.

PECTORAL SLAM!

Robinson immediately raised his arms.

HEAVEN AND EARTH SHIFT!

His hands began circling rapidly, attempting to redirect the incoming force.

But something was wrong.

Yangtze’s massive chest was far too broad. Robinson’s hands couldn’t properly guide the impact away. There was simply too much surface area pressing against him.

I can’t redirect it!

BOOOOM!

Yangtze’s chest slammed directly into Robinson’s torso, sending him flying across the street.

CRAAAAASH!

Robinson smashed into a large metal trash bin, crushing it beneath his body. His right elbow struck the metal rim with a sharp CRACK as the bin buckled beneath him. The thin metal walls split apart, scattering garbage across the pavement.

The bone had snapped.

Robinson scrambled to his feet and hurried away.

Yangtze watched him flee, then turned toward Marvel.

He approached Marvel with a tender look in his eyes and extended his large hand to help him up.

“Hey, pretty boy. You all right?”

Section 6: The Innocent Beauty

Marvel looked up at Yangtze’s outstretched hand.

“Th-thank you… thank you so much… Mr. River.”

He hesitated for a moment, still puzzled by the way Yangtze had called him pretty boy, before finally taking his hand and getting back on his feet.

Yangtze gazed at him tenderly, his eyes lingering on Marvel’s innocent face and round belly.

Then, without warning, he dropped to one knee.

He reached toward a small flowerbed beside the sidewalk, picked two chrysanthemums, and held them out to Marvel.

“Pretty boy, from the very first moment I saw you, I thought you were as beautiful as these flowers. I never believed in love at first sight… until today.”

Marvel blinked.

“S-say… say what? Uh… say what?”

Yangtze looked deeply into his eyes.

“I’ve never felt this way about anyone before. Your innocent face, your gentle eyes… and those irresistible, sexy curves of your belly. Everything about you makes my heart race.”

Marvel’s face remained as blank as ever.

Yangtze continued, holding out the flowers.

“Please, accept these flowers as a symbol of my love.”

Marvel hesitated, then awkwardly accepted them.

Yangtze smiled warmly.

“Pretty boy, will you be my boyfriend? We could build a beautiful life together, grow old together, and love each other until the very end.”

Marvel froze.

For the first time in his entire life, someone had confessed their love to him.

And that someone was a man.

Cold sweat began rolling down his forehead, though his expression remained completely blank.

“Uh… I… I really appreciate… appreciate your feelings, Mr. River. But… but I’m not ready… ready for a new relationship. And… and I already have… someone I love.”

He paused, desperately searching for another excuse.

“B-besides, Mr. River… I’m… I’m not into guys.”

Yangtze’s hopeful expression slowly faded.

He forced a faint smile.

“I see.”

He stood up, turned around, and quietly walked away.

A gentle breeze swept through the street, lifting the two chrysanthemums from Marvel’s trembling hand and carrying them across the pavement.

Marvel watched Yangtze’s broad, lonely figure disappear down the street.

Only three words remained in his mind.

Fuck my life.

Section 7: The Game Changer

That evening, Yangtze returned home, still heartbroken over Marvel’s rejection.

He dropped onto his couch and turned on the television.

A female news anchor was reporting the latest findings on HJV.

“Medical researchers have confirmed that HJV is a sexually transmitted virus. Women appear to be completely unaffected. However, infected men have a 25 percent chance of transforming into women overnight.”

She continued.

“Those affected may wake up the following morning to discover that their male reproductive organs have vanished, their breasts have developed, and their bodies have taken on fully female characteristics.”

Yangtze slowly raised his head.

“Hmm… That’s incredible. This could be a game changer.”

For years, he had been attracted to men, yet none of them had ever returned his love.

Marvel’s innocent face and the sexy curves of his round belly suddenly flashed through his mind.

The thought of that beautiful belly alone was enough to arouse him. His heart began pounding with desire.

Yangtze rose from the couch and clenched his fist.

A look of determination spread across his square face.

“So be it. I have made up my mind. Nothing shall stand in my way.”

“HJV, here I come. I shall be reborn as a woman!”
